The Physical Security Department checks vehicles in the Fort Sill Commissary parking lot recently to show Soldiers and civilians on post how easily their items can be stolen from unsecured automobiles. Out of nearly 2,500 vehicles checked, approximately one in seven was found unsecured. Some of the items left out in the vehicles included cash, keys in the ignition and medical records. The department left warning notes inside the vehicles as they continue to urge everyone to keep personal property secured at all times. They also said they were rarely challenged while performing their checks. (Photo by by Marie Berberea)
Visual Command Center: Security Data Visualization from the Globe to the Ground 3
At the ground level Visual Command Center helps you see the full context of all your building or campus related assets such as VMS, ACS, incident management data, mobile assets, data from the field, floor plans, etc. Often times Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) products stitch together a few of these for greater operational ease, but VCC goes the next step to visually integrate every relevant data source and give the global and in between views as well.
